We are a collective of diversely talented, Los Angeles and Orange County based wedding photographers covering weddings in Los Angeles, Malibu, Santa Monica, Orange County, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Westwood, West Hollywood and other destinations throughout Southern California.
Although we are a studio we will always book the photographer you have asked for, based on your stylistic choice made from viewing each photographers gallery.
Good wedding photographers are often very busy, so we have formed this collective to make sure that busyness does not get in the way of providing a first class service to all our couples. Our photographers are supported by an administrative safety net that gets your email queries and telephone calls answered promptly, your proof’s dispatched to you in record time, and your albums designed with care and emotion.
We operate a virtual studio, so there is no big fancy downtown LA photography studio to visit we’re afraid – we figured we’d save some trees, not drive to work or power and light a big glitzy space and keep it simple. This also suits our photographers, as all of them love to shoot people in their natural or favorite environments – we find this brings the best out in people.
Our couples start their relationship with us, by meeting the wedding photographer whose gallery they enjoyed the most – this obviously depends on the availability our wedding photographers on your wedding date – and we will always try and work with you to find an equally inspiring match if your first choice happens to be unavailable for your date
We prefer to meet all our future wedding couples – mostly so that our wedding photographers can get to know you and form a bond before your big day – but also so that you can discuss the all important logistics with them first hand, and discuss their style and the type of images that you want to have taken on the day. The meeting can be at your home, or in a café/bar near to a favourite scenic spot if you choose to have an engagement shoot.
Our wedding calendars get really busy, so we really need you to make a small commitment at the time of booking, so we can carve your wedding date into our solid stone diaries. You can pay the deposit for your wedding package by credit card or paypal in our SECURE DATE page. After this payment is received, you will get an emailed receipt. Before paying the deposit, it is important to make sure you are happy with the terms of your unique wedding photography contract.
This is a very boring, but very important document that is designed to protect both the prospective couple and the photographer from the unexpected. At Jinger Studios, we've gone all trendy green and cut out paper and postage from our contract process. We now use a stunningly simple, yet completely legally binding e-contract solution. Using ECHOSIGN, we email you an electronically signable PDF file with all the terms and details already filled in. You simply review the contract, electronically sign, and click send!

3 months before the wedding, we require upfront payment of 50% of the total package price. This protects our precious dates from the very rare times when couples either decide not to get married anymore (this mainly happens in the movies – so don’t panic) or find out that Annie Lebowitz (best photographer ever) will do their wedding for free.
We require the final payment (the other 50% of the package price, minus the deposit) 1 week before the wedding
We both love and need to be a part of your wedding planning, so please ‘cc’ us on all the important schedule stuff so that we get a good idea of how your day will play out in advance. On the day, just relax and enjoy yourself, safe in the knowledge that everything we discussed about your wedding photography coverage beforehand will happen without you worrying about it.
This is when our hardest work is done - sifting through the wonderful images of you and deciding the top ‘500’ – eliminating the odd pimple if they are uncouth enough to appear on your big day, and generally adding that ‘polished’ look you expect from wedding pictures. With all packages we supply an online gallery for all your friends and family to view and purchase images. This gallery is generally available within 1 week of the wedding – we often like to make this available within days – as we know how excited couples get.
If your package does not include a wedding photography album, but you decide that you would like to have a custom designed album at a later date, then we would be really happy to make one for you. There are lots of options, and it doesn’nt have to cost the earth. CONTACT US for more information.

June 20, 2009 marks one of the most special days of my life - my wedding day. Naturally, I knew selecting our photographer was one of the most important choices in our planning process. Now, almost 6 months later, as I glance through the fairy tale pictures, I am very grateful for the choice I made. Jacob is artistic, professional, & inventively creative in his photography.
Jacob is able to catch special moments in a natural way. Equally impressive is his ability to quickly learn who is close to the bride & groom, which means photos capture the perfect moments.
